I’m fascinated by what motivates people to feel, think and act the way they do. I believe that seeking understanding of these internal drivers is essential to effective storytelling, design, and product refinement. All key aspects to clients connecting with their audiences.

With over 20 years of experience as a designer and creative lead, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of clients and creative teams. I’ve managed designers, illustrators, motion graphics artists, and copywriters, while partnering closely with account teams and creative leadership, including Creative Directors and Executive Creative Directors, to deliver award-winning work. My client experience spans commercial brands, energy utilities, and federal, state and tribal agencies.
My skills include:
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro.
• Developing brand essentials, like visual style guides with creatives and production artists
• Refining messaging and scripts alongside copywriters
• Storyboarding with motion graphics designers, and editing for pace, tone and impact with video teams
• Overseeing presentation slide decks and presenting the "big ideas" to creative leadership and clients

I approach every project as a chance to learn, explore, and create by partnering with strategy teams, engaging in client conversations, and helping shape the final products delivered by the creative team.
I hold a B.A. in Art from California State University, Northridge, where I focused on graphic design, complemented by detours to illustration and photography. My strengths include attention to detail, conceptual thinking, empathy for the audience, an artist’s eye, and a knack for word smithing that aligns with effective AI-driven prompts in the creative workflow, and crafting written content for presentations.
My experience includes:
• Working with traditional illustration media and techniques (paint, graphite, pen & ink, color pencil and pastels)
• Repurposing content into "bite-sized" nuggets for infographics
• 508 compliance 
• Overseeing/contributing to photo and video shoots: shot lists, animatics, talent direction
• Refining creative briefs and pitch deck visuals and text content to win over stakeholders
• Optimizing/adjusting workflows as necessary for team efficiency in meeting deadlines
• Carefully reviewing final deliverables before they reach the client​​​​​​​
